Warranty conditions

Warranty
TONI Copenhagen provides a 2-year product warranty and a 5-year functional warranty.

2-year product warranty
In accordance with the Danish Sale of Goods Act and industry-specific standards, TONI Copenhagen is liable for defects and deficiencies that arise within 2 years of the date of purchase. If the date of purchase is not stated, e.g. when TONI Copenhagen products are installed in new buildings, the 2-year period applies from the date on which the product is put into use by the end customer. The date for this is identical to the registered delivery date, a copy of which must be presented when making a complaint.
The warranty period for replaced goods or spare parts does not exceed the warranty period for the original product is therefore not extended.
Any costs incurred by third parties must be covered by insurance taken out by the installation company or the end customer.

5-year functional warranty
TONI Copenhagen undertakes to supply spare parts free of charge to maintain functionality that is not due to normal wear and tear for up to 5 years from the date of purchase. If the date of purchase is not stated, e.g. in the case of new construction, the warranty is valid for 5 years from the date on which the product is put into use by the end customer. This date is identical to the documented delivery date, a copy of which must be presented in the event of a complaint.
Applies to ceramic cartridges and thermostat cartridges.

Limitation of liability
TONI Copenhagen is not liable for defects caused by normal wear and tear, and only on condition that the product has been correctly installed in accordance with TONI Copenhagen's installation instructions and is used in the intended and correct manner. Liability does not cover damage caused by frost or impurities in the water. The warranty also does not cover aesthetic defects caused by improper cleaning or normal use, e.g., minor scratches that are considered normal wear and tear. Some of TONI Copenhagen's surface treatments are "living" and will patinate, oxidize, and change appearance over time. Such changes are not covered by liability and warranty.

Complaints
Complaints should be directed to the point of sale where the product was purchased. Complaints must be made within a reasonable time after the defect was discovered. A complaint made within two months is always considered timely.

Service in case of complaints
TONI Copenhagen must approve the complaint and the service work before repairs are initiated. In the event of water damage – regardless of the cause – the affected party must immediately report the damage to their insurance company, which will then carry out the necessary investigation and damage assessment.
