Reference Project
In this Denver residence, luxury reveals itself not in grand gestures but in the quiet assurance of materials chosen well and placed with intention. Each room unfolds as a considered composition, where texture, tone, and time converge.
The interiors were curated by Emerson Bailey, the design studio and gallery known for its nuanced dialogue between Swedish heritage and contemporary living. Here, Gustavian silhouettes and rustic Nordic antiques sit comfortably within a distinctly modern architectural framework, creating a tension that feels both cultivated and entirely at ease.
A tactile material palette grounds the home: wool and leather soften the architecture, clay brick and stone lend permanence, and warm woods introduce a sense of familiarity. Against this backdrop, Christiansborg and SP faucets in burnished and polished brass punctuate kitchens and baths with quiet brilliance. As each brass treatment slowly patinates, it respectively deepens and brightens in tone, subtly shifting over time — a reminder that the most compelling interiors are those designed not only to be admired, but to evolve.
