Reference Project
Lannan Pantry in Edinburgh’s Stockbridge neighbourhood, founded by baker Darcie Maher as a space for seasonal produce and everyday provisions.
Stepping inside, the interior, designed by Rodi & Cécile Studio, reveals a material-led approach that emphasises warmth and tactility through bespoke oak joinery, terracotta tiles and a muted, earthy palette — extended to the produce displayed all around, of course.
Behind the counter, an SP Elbow fixture on standpipes in polished nickel is installed. The raised fixture, combined with an elbow-operated handle, offers a highly practical solution for a busy establishment. Originally developed in 1937 for hospital use, the SP Elbow was designed to enhance hygiene and withstand high levels of daily wear.
